PCE-VT 204 is a multifunction handheld vibration analyzer with the ability to accurately measure both rotation and vibration. An ideal tool for the testing and inspection of machine parts and components such as motors, transmissions, gears, gear boxes and wheels, this multi-purpose device measures revolutions per minute (RPMs) as well as three-axis vibration, i.e., velocity or speed, displacement and acceleration.

The accelerometer sensor can be set flat, equipped with a magnet or combined with the included fastening screw to make contact with a surface during vibration measurement. Internal frequency filters eliminate the effects of background noise, allowing the device to detect specific vibrations.

The vibration analyzer is used as a hand-held measuring device for the individual assessment of vibration on machines and systems. With the help of this vibration analyzer the actual state can easily be determined on-site. Thus, corresponding changes can be made directly on site after the measurement. Thereafter, the new condition can also be assessed. Thus, the vibration analyzer serves as a measuring device for a relative measurement on different machines.

The Roughness Tester PCE-RT 11-ICA is a portable measuring instrument for determination of surface roughness according to Ra, Rz, Rq and Rt in just one device. The small roughness tester is especially designed for fast measuring of roughness. The roughness is a term of surface physics that describes unevenness of surface height. The roughness tester works according to the same piezoelectric micro probe principle like the highly accurate laboratory measuring instruments. The easy handling of the roughness tester as well as the high repetitive accuracy characterizes this device. After touching the button the piezoelectric micro probe of the roughness tester scans the surface within seconds and shows digitally, according to the preselected cut-off length, either the value Ra, Rz, Rq or Rt.
