Vickers Hardness Portable UCI PCE-3500

 Description :

The UCI hardness tester PCE-3500 has been designed for the non-destructive hardness measurement of metallic components. The UCI hardness tester works on the basis of the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance test procedure. This UCI procedure works as follows: a Vickers diamond at the probe is stimulated with its self-resonance. By pushing the probe, the vibration frequency is reduced depending on the hardness of the surface and on the e module of the material and of the contact surface. The hardness of the surface can be determined on the basis of the frequency shift, taking the characteristic curve of the material into consideration.

The UCI hardness tester works non-destructively. There is a microscopically slight pressure against the surface, however, this is normally not visible. Due to the low penetration depth of the Vickers diamond, this UCI hardness tester is especially suitable for edge layer hardened components such as, for example, those that emerge when nitriding or induction hardening. It is typically used for punching tools, presses, thin-walled components, cog wheels, turbine blades, camshafts or weld seams. The UCI hardness tester is also suitable for many other hardness testing applications. It has exchangeable probes with different pressure forces and can therefore cover diverse applications.

After measuring the hardness of a component, the UCI hardness tester PCE-3500 shows different statistical values such as the MAX / MIN values and average values. Moreover, the standard deviation and further coefficients can be determined. A bar chart can be indicated. Since the UCI hardness tester is equipped with an internal memory, the measured data can be evaluated by means of a software.

Description :

The Hardness Tester is a measuring tool for testing the strength of concrete. The Hardness Tester measures strength according to the Schmidt principle. According to this measurement method, the quality of concrete can be measured with the Hardness Tester. Thus, the Hardness Tester finds its essential application in the construction and in the construction sector. The Hardess Tester is also suitable for measuring the hardness of rolled paper.  The built-in mechanism on the hardness tester always ensures the same impact energy of 2.207 Nm.

In addition to testing concrete, the Hardness Tester can also store measured data. The stored measurement data can be transferred from the Hardness Tester to a PC after a measurement run. For this, the mini-USB interface is available on the Hardness Tester. The evaluation of the measurements from the hardness tester is carried out with the supplied PC software.

The Hardness Tester displays measurements Rebound Value and can display force in PSI, MPa, kgF/cm², or N/mm². The Hardness Tester can be setup to measure at test angles of downward(-90°), downward(-45°), horizontal (0°), upward(45°), or upward(90°).

Leeb Hardness Tester PCE-950

Descriptions :

PCE-950 is a handheld metal hardness tester used to determine the hardness of 10 different types of metal (i.e., cast steel, hammered steel, cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, cast iron, ductile iron, aluminum alloy, brass, bronze and forged copper alloy) according to the Leeb rebound method. In addition to Leeb hardness units (HL), the metal hardness tester displays hardness measurements in Rockwell C, Rockwell B, Rockwell A, Brinell, Vickers and Shore hardness units. In this dynamic hardness testing method, a small carbide ball hits the test surface. The quotient of rebound and impact velocity is directly related to the material hardness and can be converted into different hardness scales (i.e., HRC, HRB, HRA, HB, HV and HS).

Thanks to the measuring instrument's compact pocket-sized ergonomic design and integrated impact device, hardness tests can be performed quickly and easily in the field and on the manufacturing production floor. An internal memory offers storage for up to 600 readings, and the included PC-compatible software and USB cable allow for simple and efficient data transfer to a computer for documentation and analysis of hardness test results. Ideal for the incoming and outgoing inspection of metal parts and components, the PCE-950 hardness tester is an essential tool for machinists and manufacturing quality control and assurance professionals.

Alat Uji Kekerasan Logam Portable PCE-2000N

Deskripsi :

The PCE-Instruments PCE-2000N hardness meter uses the Leeb rebound method. This is a dynamic hardness test method in which a standardized test specimen, usually a hard metal ball, is hit with defined impact energy on a test surface. The impact of the hard metal ball on the test surface results in a plastic deformation of the surface at the point of impact. From this deformation results in an energy loss, which is proportional to the workpiece hardness and can be determined by the ratio of rebound to impact velocity of the specimen.

This technology enables a compact design, which makes it particularly suitable for the hardness tester. In contrast to static test methods with heavy hardness testing machines, a mobile hardness tester can be used very flexibly in the incoming or outgoing inspection, in production and generally in all areas where hardness has an influence on quality parameters. The hardness tester from PCE Instruments can be used to measure six different hardness scales (HL, HV, HRA, HRC, HB, HV, HS) as well as ten different materials.

As standard, the hardness meter is supplied with a striker D, but optional additional impactors (DC, DL, C, D + 15, E, G) can be connected for more specific applications. In addition, the data can be saved directly on a USB stick, which further extends the flexibility of this mobile hardness tester. With a highly readable OLED display, a long standby time, a handy housing and a symbol-based menu navigation, the handling of the mobile hardness tester is extremely user-friendly.
